THE BIG PICTURE
Accompanied by original films created by Light of Day for this show, this cinematic concert tells Krakauer's story of cultural heritage in an artful marriage of music and the moving image. The Grammy-nominated clarinetist reimagines themes from iconic films with Jewish content from the last 50 years.

Krakauer's sextet delves into sensual, soaring, and daring interpretations of the music from movies integral to our collective memories, such as Fiddler on the Roof, Sophie's Choice, Life is Beautiful, Cabaret, The Producers, and Funny Girl.

The Big Picture album, available online and in stores, will be available for purchase at all performances.
