Q: I attend a private school. Can I be an HSAP?
A: No. Only public school students are eligible to apply.

Q: I attend school outside of New York City. Can I be an HSAP?
A: No. Only students from the five boroughs of NYC are eligible to apply.

Q: Is the Apprenticeship paid?
A: Yes. We pay HSAPs hourly during training and the summer Apprenticeship.

Q: I've never studied the Holocaust before. Can I be an HSAP?
A: Yes. We accept students from all academic backgrounds.

Q: I plan on being away for a week over the summer. Can I be an HSAP?
A: No. We require students to be here five days a week during the Apprenticeship. Typically, it begins early July and ends mid August.
