The Museum employs volunteers and interns in a broad range of capacities
from working with the curatorial, development, education, public programs,
marketing, visitor services, and administrative departments of the Museum
to leading tours through our galleries and taking the Museum's message
to schools and other groups.
Internships at the Museum are a unique learning experience for students seeking to gain practical training in a role related to their field of study or professional interests.
Volunteers assist in all aspects of the Museum. There is a variety of ways to volunteer, and schedules are flexible. Several volunteer programs require training.
The Young Friends of the Museum are directly involved in organizing and participating in a variety of programs. Their goal is to help further the Museum's fundraising objectives through public awareness of the Museum and its mission.
