The Heritage Café, offers visitors a full menu of options for lunch or a mid-museum visit snack.

The Museum does not allow visitors to bring in outside food.

The Café is closed on Tuesday, July 20 in observance of Tisha B'av. It will re-open for business on Wednesday, July 21.

 


An extensive array of items including gourmet salads, sandwiches, and soups await those who seek a quick nosh or those who want to spend time gazing at the Statue of Liberty. Hot specialty drinks, cold beverages, and various pastries and desserts are available as well.

All dishes are carefully prepared in accordance with Jewish dietary laws. They are certified by Star-K. The café serves meat and parve items.

Visitors need not pay an admission charge to visit the café.

The Heritage Café is operated by Foremost Caterers, the premier kosher catering company in the New York Metropolitan area. Foremost is the preferred kosher caterer in every New York City hotel, museum, special event location, yacht and restuarant. Foremost has collaborated with such world-renowned chefs as Daniel Boulud, Christian Delouvrier, Alfred Portale, and Bobby Flay.

Sun-Thur 10 a.m.-3:30 p.m.

Friday 10:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. (after Daylight Saving Time 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.)

The café will remain open until 7 p.m. on Wednesdays when there are public programs scheduled.
